The Evening Knight Package, includes;
2-2 1/2 hours of Jousting Activities and Sword fighting.
A hog roast meal after your jousting will finish off your evening package.
Based on minimum of 15 people in a group.
If some of the group can ride - great! but we take a lot of people that have not ridden at all (not even a donkey!) and they enjoy the day just as much - jousting and the mounted games requires a different type of equestrian skill and all our trained horses and instructors can accommodate any standard of horsemanship!! It is a physical day so a reasonable level of fitness is required.
A touch of competitiveness is added to the mix in the afternoon where groups are split into teams to battle it out in a mini joust tournament called the "Gauntlet Challenge". Stag/Hen's will be marked and will have to pick up points on the skills learnt - hitting the dreaded "quintaine" (man shaped spinning target), picking up targets from your steed, (peasants heads) with a lance, sword fight routines, archery and an attempt to knock the black knight from his horse!
Plenty of chores and chances to embarrass the man/woman of the day!
Losers will experience the stocks!!
